Throughout the year our members meet at each others garden lines. These get togethers provide an opportunity to run on a wide variety of differing lines ranging from scenic ones, at or near ground level, to those which are built at or near waist height. The choice of line height is often dictated by the slope of the garden site or has been built that way purely for the ease of operation of a member's own live steam locomotives.
These social gatherings provide a chance to run our trains on a wide variety of tracks but they are also an ideal opportunity to exchange ideas, solve problems and seek advice - usually over a cup of tea/biscuit or a slice or two of cake.
